COMPUTER ASSISTANT DutiesAs a COMPUTER ASSISTANT (TITLE 32), GS-0335-9, you will manage and maintain the Aviation Logistics Enterprise-Platform (ALE-P) at AASF and provide guidance to users in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Aviation Logistics Enterprise. -Platform (ALE-P) and serves as a liaison between the AASF and external support organizations (eg Combat Service Support Automation Management Office AVCRAD, National Guard). Main Responsibilities – This is not an exhaustive list: Monitor database files from external sources (eg, inspection master files, component master files, and reportable item files) to ensure data integrity and usability | |||||||||

QualificationsAREA OF CONSIDERATIONS: Areas of consideration for this position, Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code § 709), will be in the following manner and order: The FIRST area of consideration for this position will be all but permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within ILNG. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: MUST have experience, training, or education that demonstrates the applicant’s ability to follow instructions, procedures, or systematic work methods that demonstrate the candidate’s ability to perform the job; experience using computer and automation systems.Computer Assistant SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-9 Level – MUST have specialized experience for the GS-09 level that includes at least 24 months of experience maintaining continuity of production control; coordinating workload priorities and scheduling multiple requests; experience applying optional methods to new or development requirements and ensuring program dependencies and priorities; experience identifying computer requirements or techniques associated with the development and design of data processing systems; experience planning and programming requirements related to computer systems or applications. To be considered qualified, you must have one year of specialized experience corresponding to the level of the nearest lower grade in the federal service.Computer Assistant Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (eg, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (eg, professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteering helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly into paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Verbosity displayed on your resume or application must include your own words.
