IBPS PO 2022 Notice: IBPS PO 2022 exam will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to select suitable candidates for the post of probationary officer in various public sector banks in India. The IBPS PO exam has been held every year since 2011 and is now in its 12th edition in 2022. IBPS CRP PO/MT CRP-XII 2022 aims to select candidates for 11 public sector banks. The online registration process for IBPS PO 2022 started on August 2, 2022, and will be active until August 22, 2022.
IBPS provides its services to all public sector banks (PNB, BOB, etc.), SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance, and other full member banks of IBPS. In 2011, IBPS launched the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for the recruitment of Clerks and Clerks in Indian Bank and accepts online applications through its official website. The IBPS PO exam is conducted in various locations in India and in online mode only. IBPS PO 2022 Preliminary Exam is tentatively scheduled for October 15, 16, and 22, 2022.

IBPS PO 2022 Online Application

All eligible and interested candidates should register online for the recruitment process at IBPS’s official website, @ibps.in. By submitting the duly completed application form with the required fee, uploading signature, photo, handwritten statement of IBPS PO, and documents, the application process is completed. The three-stage selection process consists of preparatory and main exams conducted online, followed by interviews. Candidates must pass each exam to be shortlisted and move on to the next stage. IBPS PO Educational Qualification
Graduate Degree: Eligibility criteria for the IBPS CRP exam is as basic as a graduate degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech, or as such) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Such a candidate who has obtained an equivalent qualification recognized by the national government is also eligible for this exam.
Candidates must be in possession of a valid grade sheet/degree certificate certifying that they have graduated on the date they register for this exam and must state the percentage of marks obtained at graduation when registering for the IBPS Bank-PO exam.
Computer skills: Knowledge of working with computer systems is essential for the job and also for passing the IBPS PO exam which is taken online.
Language skills: Oral and written knowledge of the official language of the state/UT is desirable. The applicant must be able to read, write and speak the given language.
IBPS PO 2022 Salary
The initial in-hand salary of an IBPS Probationary Officer is Rs. 52,000 to 55,000 with dearness allowances, special allowances, and other benefits. IBPS PO 2022 Exam Pattern
IBPS introduced separate sectional timing for each section in the preliminary exam. The IBPS PO exam (CRP XI) for hiring candidates will be based on an online written exam in two parts: Tier 1 or IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or IBPS Mains Exam. This examination is followed by a face-to-face interview process.
IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The IBPS PO Preliminary Exam has a total duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes for each section that will be taken in online mode. It consists of 3 parts with a total of 100 questions and a maximum score of 100 points. There is a negative mark in IBPS PO prelims and 0.25 points are deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must clear the cutoff in all 3 sections to be eligible for the IBPS PO Mains exam. The details per section are given below:
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern
The IBPO PO Main Exam is also online, it has 5 (4+1) sections with a total score of 200+25 points and a total duration of 180+30 minutes. IBPS will conduct a descriptive document during its main examination to select candidates for the position of Examination Officer. Sections must be taken in the same order and time as prescribed at the time of the exam. The candidate must pass both the pre-and main exams to attend the interview.

IBPS PO Interview
The candidates who have qualified for the main exam are called for a face-to-face interview which carries a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying mark in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
The interview round is generally 15-20 minutes long, where a panel of bank officials asks questions to the candidates about themselves, the banking sector, current affairs, general awareness, etc. The candidates must be well dressed, confident, and carry all required documents to the interview.
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination and interview. The final score is calculated by IBPS with the weightage of marks given to the main examination and interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.
Final Score Calculation for IBPS PO Exam
The final score for the IBPS PO exam is calculated keeping the following points in mind:
• Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Tier-1) will not be considered in the final score and are only for qualifying for Mains Exam (Tier-2).
• Candidates must qualify for Phase-2 and Interview separately to be eligible for final merit.
• The weightage (ratio) of the IBPS PO Main exam and interview for the final merit list will be 80:20 respectively.
• The aggregate score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category. Candidates with top merit rank in each category are finally selected.
