Online applications are invited for single students (who meet the eligibility criteria as set by the Government of India) to be registered as AA and SSR sailors for 500 & 2000 vacancies (Approximately) respectively in the February 2022 collection. With a total of 2500 vacancies, approximately 10000 registrants will be called for written tests and a Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Cut-off marks from written tests may vary by province.
Indian Navy SSR & AA Merit List: – Merit List of AA and SSR will be prepared based on performance in written tests in accordance with the relevant Physical Fitness Test (PFT), as follows:
(a) The top 600 candidates (approximately.) in all eligible India, who meet the AA eligibility process will be given a letter calling for a final medical examination at INS Chilka.
(b) SSR- Approximately 2500 candidates will be issued with a letter calling for a final examination of medical registration at INS Chilka on the basis of state expertise
Note: – The prescribed marks for issuing a summons for the final medical examination at INS Chilka may vary by province upon admission by SSR.
Important Information: –
Mobile phones or other communication devices are not allowed inside the test area. Any violation of these rules will include disciplinary action including a ban on future trials.
Applicants are strongly advised to use the internet properly on time without waiting for the last application date.
No candidate shall be required to engage in any misconduct or to create an unsafe environment in the polling stations.
Applicants should avoid submitting too many applications. If more than one application is received from a registered person, his or her position will be canceled.
The Navy’s decision on eligibility or otherwise a candidate for a written test election with the PFT will not be final.
Incorrect information about the domicile certificate will result in the removal of the complaint at any stage of employment or training.
It is compulsory to submit a negative RT-PCR report for COVID-19 from a Labt / ICMR laboratory accredited by students during a written test (Report must be written 72 hours before the reporting date).
Indian Navy SSR & AA Pay & Allowances: – At the start of the training, the amount of Rs. 14,600 / – per month will be accepted. Upon successful completion of the initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defense Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700- Rs. 69,100). In addition, they will be paid by MSP @ Rs. 5200 / – per month plus DA (as applicable) and ‘X’ Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} @ Rs. 3600 / – per month and DA (as applicable) as under trainees and Rs. 6200 / – per month with the DA for the successful completion of the AICTE Diploma course.
Medical Standards: –
Medical examinations will be performed by authorized military physicians in accordance with the standard medical standards set out in the current rules applicable to passengers upon admission.
Minimum height of 157 cms. Weight and Chest should be equal. Chest expansion of at least 5 cms. Details about the high elevation standards for admission to the Indian Navy as Marines, including active rest, can be found on the official recruitment website.
The nominee must be physically and mentally healthy, with no risk of disrupting coastal operations and floating in peace and military conditions in accordance with Navy Order (Special) 01/2008. Order of Release Order can be obtained from the official Indian Navy recruitment website.
Registration for the Medical Examination for all students on the eligibility list will be at INS Chilka. Students who will be found eligible for treatment in the Medical Journal will be enrolled. Students who are found to be medically unfit will be advised to appeal the decision, if they wish, to the INHS Nivarini, Chilka, and INHS Kalyani, Visakhapatnam within 21 days.
Note: – Students are advised to clean their ears with wax, and then remove tartar from the teeth before a medical examination.
Indian Navy SSR & AA Training – – Training for these courses will begin in February 2022, with 9 weeks AA and 22 weeks of SSR Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by commercial training distributed at various Navy Training Establishments. Branch/trade will be allocated according to the need of the Service.
