Educational Qualification for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2022 –
Havlidar Clerk – Candidates should have passed the 12th examination from any recognized board in India. And also typing should be 35 words per minute in English / 30 words per minute in Hindi.
Havlidar Operator Radio & Line – Candidates should have passed the 12th examination from any recognized board in India OR have Class 10th with ITI Certificate.
Rifleman Armourer, Rifleman Barber, Rifleman Laboratory Assistant, Rifleman Nursing Assistant, Rifleman Washerman – Candidates should have passed the Class 10th High School examination from any recognized board in India.
Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic – Candidates should have passed the 12th examination from any recognized board in India OR should have passed Class 10th with Diploma.
Warrant Officer Veterinary Field Assistant – Candidates should have passed the 12th examination from any recognized board in India Diploma in relevant trade and 1 Year of Experience.
Naib Subedar – Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from any recognized board in India.
Trade applicable for Assam Rifles Serving Personnel (Departmental Candidates)
Assam Rifles serving personnel (Departmental Candidates can apply for the trades (Clerk and Religious Teacher) for their State/Category if they meet the eligibility criteria for these posts.
Applications received for any other posts will be rejected. Departmental candidates are required to apply for NOC to their CO/OC of Unit. NOC will be issued by Col (Record) HQ DGAR in the devised format. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down for the applied post and based on service records entry will only be issued NOC by Col (Rec), HQ DGAR after Written Recommendation from his/her CO/OC Unit through the proper channel. Departmental candidates may avail of age relaxation only as per the ‘Serving Assam Rifles Personnel’ clause.

(i) To apply, complete the online application by clicking on the ‘Apply to Online’ button on the homepage under ‘Join Assam Guns’ Candidates will fill in the required details as stated on the application form.
(ii) After completing the application, candidates have the option to pay online with a link provided online payment or payment can be made to any SBI calculator. In both cases, the candidate will have to upload a copy of the challan or receipt online. In the event of a non-receipt of the receipt/challan at the time of online registration, the selection of those applicants will be rejected.
(iii) All further information regarding the conduct of the various events of the recruitment meeting will be communicated to the candidates by notice on the website, email, and SMS only. Therefore, the provision of a valid lD email/operator and a mobile phone number on the Application Form for applicants is mandatory.
(iv) Students while reporting General Physical Examination (PST), Physical Performance Test (PET), Written Testing, Commercial Examination (Competency Testing), Comprehensive Medical Examination (DME), and Medical Examination (RME) as the performance will reveal the real thing. a copy of the payment/challan receipt for official records. Departmental candidates MUST bring their NOC with them to visit PET / PST.

Assam Rifles Recruitment 2022 Exam Pattern
- The question paper of the written test will comprise 100 marks. There will be four sections i.e. English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
- Each section carries 25 questions and each question carries one mark.
- Minimum pass marks for General/Ews candidates is 35% and 33% marks for SC/ST/OBC
candidates - The written examination will be conducted in offline mode.
- The candidates who are successful in the PET/PST/Documentation/ Trade (Skill)
lest/Written Test will be shortlisted to the next stage i.e. and Detailed Medical Examination
(DME) on the basis of their merit in the Written Test will be about 4 times the number of
